Morar Lodge Nursing Home is an independent care facility nestled in the tranquil and charming town of Helensburgh. Positioned on the north coast of the River Clyde, merely 8 miles west of Dumbarton along the A814, and approximately 24 miles northwest of Glasgow, Morar Lodge enjoys a prime location offering unique advantages. The property overlooks the Clyde Estuary and the mountains beyond, providing residents with breathtaking views that contribute to the serene and picturesque ambiance of the surroundings.

Our registration with the Care Inspectorate Scotland (CI) allows us to offer care services for a maximum of 33 elderly residents. Our facility comprises 31 single bedrooms, with 19 featuring ensuite facilities. Additionally, we provide spacious shared rooms that can be occupied by a spouse, partner, or preferred sibling. We welcome residents seeking Nursing and Dementia care, Palliative care, Self-funded residential or dementia care, Respite care, and End of life care.

All our care staff have completed the induction program, are registered with the SSSC, and are required to attain SVQ level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care.
